What is the Trezor® Hardware Wallet?

The Trezor® Hardware Wallet is a purpose-built device that stores cryptocurrency private keys offline (cold storage). By isolating signing operations from internet-connected computers, Trezor® significantly reduces risks from phishing, malware, and remote attacks. It supports a wide range of coins and integrates with the Trezor Suite app for account management.

Getting Started — Setup & Downloads

Begin at the official onboarding page: trezor.io/start. The recommended flow is:

  1. Unbox your Trezor® device and verify tamper-evidence packaging.
  2. Visit trezor.io/start and select your model.
  3. Install Trezor Bridge if your browser requires it — use Trezor Bridge Download to enable secure USB communication.
  4. Download Trezor Suite from Trezor Suite or use the web version; desktop installers are available on the Suite site for Trezor Suite Download.
  5. Initialize the device: set a device PIN and write down your recovery seed in the provided recovery card.

Managing Accounts: Trezor Suite & Login

Trezor Suite is the official management application for viewing balances, adding accounts, and signing transactions. When you connect your device, follow on-screen prompts to authorize the session — commonly referred to as Trezor Login or Trezor Wallet Login within the Suite. Always keep Trezor Suite updated and download it from the official Suite site to avoid spoofed software.

Troubleshooting & Support

If your computer does not detect the device, confirm the USB cable supports data (not charge-only), reinstall Trezor Bridge from Trezor Bridge Download, and try a different port or browser. For recovery or firmware questions, consult the official guides at trezor.io/start or the Trezor Help Center linked from the main site.
